CLASS PAGE
This class is Digital Design Period 2. In Digital Design, we do a lot of projects using different programs like photoshop and adobe. More to come, stay tuned!

In this project, we had to design a room for ourselves to help us get the hang of digital design and also to help Mr. Grillo get to know us. We were required to add twenty images in our room and modify each image to make the size and perspective realistic. I added both aspects I already have in my real room and aspects I wish I had. This project helped me get a grasp of Photoshop, as well as get insight on what this class will be like.
In this project, we had to design a logo for ourselves. One had to include our initials with a design, and the other had to have an addition with our full name.

In this project, we had to create two "jump out" images, one with an animal and one with a person. We had to remove the subject from the background and use new tools in photoshop to make the background whole again. We learned to manipulate images to change the perspective. This project helped us get the hang of using new tools in photo shop.

In this project, we had to pick a movie poster and replace the star of the movie with an image of ourselves as well as replacing their name with our own. I chose The Truman Show because it's been one of my favorite movies since I was only four years old. We continued using some photoshop tools from the last project.

In this project, we had to pick two movie posters and combine them together. The movie titles had to have a word that connected them so it was more of a challenge for us. I chose "Talk To Me" and "Me Before You". I combined the images, the titles, and then edited the contrast and brightness to make it look like it belonged together.

This project was similar to The Battle of Redwater project. We had to create a movie poster from scratch, but instead of following a prompt Mr. Grillo gave us, we create the prompt too. My movie is about 3 friends camping when a sudden solar disaster happens. They have to try and find their way home, and they find an injured scientist in the woods who says he knows the explanation for all of this. Can they trust him?

In this project, we had to create a holiday card for someone we care about. This project helped us work with tools in photoshop we've never used before like the ruler. This project will be printed out and folded into a card.

In this project, we had to create a collage on Canva of 20 things on a list Mr. Grillo created for us.

In this project, we had to re-design the buc logo using a new program called Adobe Illustrator.

In this project, Mr. Grillo gave us a prompt: Two opposing pirates, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Ariana Grande race across the sea in order to find a treasure but they are forced to work together in order to repel an alien attack on the pirate port city of New Redwater. We had to create a movie poster from scratch according to this prompt.

In this project, Mr. Grillo directed us to pick a movie poster that already existed. We had to change the characters, titles, and images slightly to make everything blend together and make sense. For example, I changed the shark to a cat, the woman to a mouse, and the "J" in JAWS to a "P". I also had to edit the hue, brightness, and contrast of the images I added to blend them in.

In this project, we designed a poster advertising the class for future students. The purpose of this poster was to convince other students to sign up for the class. We used all of our skills from other assignments to make this the best poster representing the class.

In this project, we created a view from a window utilizing 5 different images. We had to make it realistic and couldn't just simply copy and paste.

In this project, we had to change the buc logo to something new and original using Adobe Illustrator.
In this project, we took a picture of ourselves and turned it into a drawing using Illustrator once again. It could not look cartoony.
